1. Conditions of access to the website

Access to the MERIAL website is subject to acceptance of the following terms and conditions and applicable laws.

The user acknowledges having the means and ability to use this website. 

These terms and conditions and the information contained may be changed when MERIAL chooses to do so, without prior notice.

The terms and conditions of use apply exclusively to this website. Other websites within the group or belonging to MERIAL have their own terms and conditions of use.

MERIAL reserves the right to close the account if the user is found to be in breach of the terms and conditions of use.

 

2. Intellectual property

This site belongs to and is operated by MERIAL SAS, (hereinafter “MERIAL”) belonging to the MERIAL Group. The layout and each of the components, including trademarks, logos and domain names, appearing on the site www.merial.com (hereinafter the "Site"), are protected by current laws on intellectual property, and belong to MERIAL or their use is the subject of an authorisation.

No component of the Site may be copied, reproduced, altered, edited, downloaded, denatured, transmitted or distributed in any way whatsoever, on any medium whatsoever, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of MERIAL, except solely for use for press requirements conditional on compliance with intellectual property rights and any other property rights that are mentioned. Only copying for private use is authorised for your own personal, private, non-commercial use, on your personal computer.

3. Nature of information

Information, especially financial, published on the Site shall not be considered as an encouragement to invest. In any case, MERIAL is not in any way liable for the non-availability of such sites and MERIAL does not scrutinise, check or approve them and is not responsible for contents, advertising, products or other components available on or via those sites.

 

5. Personal information and other information 

Certain information is automatically gathered and stored: 

         - The user's IP address. This address, which makes it possible to access the Internet, is assigned to the user’s computer by its Internet service provider. This information cannot identify an individual.      

         - The website address from which the user is directly linked to this site. 

         - The date and time of the user’s visit to the website and the pages viewed.

         - The operating system of the user’s computer, as well as his browser.

The user is likewise informed that during visits to the website a cookie may be automatically installed in his browser. The cookie is a piece of data that cannot be used to identify the user, but records information on how the latter browses the site.

MERIAL strives to the best of its ability to ensure that information published on the Site is accurate and up-to-date. It reserves the right to correct content at any time, without prior notice. However, MERIAL cannot guarantee that the information available on the Site is accurate, correct, up-to-date or complete.

Consequently, and except for property damage resulting from gross or intentional negligence by MERIAL, the group declines any liability:

MERIAL and/or its suppliers may, at any time, alter or interrupt, temporarily or permanently, all or part of the Site to undertake maintenance and/or make improvements and/or changes to the Site. MERIAL is not responsible for any alteration, suspension or interruption of the Site.

The Site and its content are governed by the Laws of France, and any disputes relating thereto are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of France.
